Abstract

The leadership of women in the church remains a relevant issue, particularly in confronting patriarchal structures that limit the roles of women. This article examines the application of the principles of feminist pastoral theology within the context of Wanita Bethel Indonesia (WBI) as an effort to enhance the participation and leadership of women in the Gereja Bethel Indonesia (GBI). Utilizing a literature review method from a feminist perspective, this article aims to analyze how the principles of feminist pastoral theology are implemented in WBI and how this influences the roles and leadership of women within GBI. The findings indicate that the principles of feminist pastoral theology are reflected in the history, structure, and programs of WBI. WBI was established with the aim of empowering women within the church and society, providing greater opportunities for them to actively participate in the spiritual, social, and leadership aspects of the church.
