Focus and Scope

Scientia Temisien: Jurnal Teologi dan Pendidikan Kristiani welcomes scholarly manuscripts in the form of research articles, literature reviews, and critical studies that are relevant to the fields of theology and Christian religious education. The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:

  1. Biblical Theology (Old and New Testament)
    Exegetical, hermeneutical, and theological studies focusing on biblical texts—both Old and New Testament—aimed at exploring the relevance of biblical theology in contemporary Christian life.
  2. Systematic Theology
    Studies that examine Christian doctrines in a systematic, critical, and contextual manner, including discussions on Christology, Pneumatology, Soteriology, Ecclesiology, Eschatology, and contemporary theological issues.
  3. Practical Theology
    Analyses of the practice of Christian faith in various aspects of church ministry and social life, such as homiletics, liturgy, pastoral care, and Christian counseling, as well as their relevance to modern challenges.
  4. Missiology
    Studies on mission and evangelism from biblical, historical, theological, and practical perspectives, including cross-cultural mission, interreligious dialogue, and the role of the church in society.
  5. Digital Theology
